The producer has said that he was not thinking in terms of using it to generate a buzz or promote his skills at that point: "I never thought any of this of me as a producer was going to happen." The album has since been credited as starting the now regular trend for unofficial 'home-made' remixes of whole albums. Zulu Queen Lisa Lee is a true female Legend that has laid the foundation for all female MC’s to look up to. Queen Lisa Lee has audio transcripts of her history growing up in the Bronx which will be available at William n Mary University where she will make regular visits to share her knowledge of Hip Hop which is a curriculum at that College. Today Lisa Lee is an active Board Member at Cornell University for the Hip Hop Collection. She was also a member of the all female group Us Girls from the motion picture Beat Street. To add to Zulu Queen Lisa Lee’s accomplishments she performed the legendary “limo scene” in the movie Wild Style where she and Chief Rocker Busy Bee went rhyme for rhyme as they rode the South Bronx streets. Lisa Lee also has a single called I’m A Pioneer recorded at RoofTop Records by B Fats. In 1979 she went on to do Zulu Nation Throwdown with the Cosmic Force, which is the first recording of the Zulu Nation. Lisa Lee is the first was the only female member of the group Soulsonic Force. She asked Bambaataa if she could rock the mic and the next week her name appeared on a flyer, “Lisa Lee”! Zulu Queen Lisa Lee is an Original Zulu Queen who started with the Mighty Zulu Nation in the ‘70’s. where DJ Afrika Bambaataa and Disco King Mario were playing.
